The Barn at Black Isle Berries is situated at Ryefield Farm, Tore on the Black Isle, just 10 minutes drive from Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, and 30 minutes from Inverness Airport.

Occupying the footprint of an old farm shed, The Barn was built 8 years ago as a bunkhouse. It has now been transformed into a spacious, comfortable house that sleeps up to 10 people, providing ideal accommodation for extended families or groups looking to spend time in and around this picturesque area.

Ryefield Farm is a working fruit farm, and The Barn is located adjacent to our own Farm Shop, which is well stocked with home-grown and local produce, and open daily. The shop is busy with customers, particularly during the summer fruit season when we also have PYO, but peace descends when it closes at 6pm.

The Black Isle has many attractions for visitors, including mountain biking at Red Rock, Learnie; fishing and dolphin trips from Cromarty and Avoch; dolphin watching from the shore at Chanonry Point, Fortrose; and museums in Cromarty and Rosemarkie. There are many walks in the area to suit all abilities.

As we are located close to the A9, numerous areas of scenic beauty and historic interest are within easy reach for day trips.
